Bp L [Lorenzo] D Young moved that Sister Eliza R. Snow be elected President of the 18th Ward Female Relief Society, which motion was unanimously sustained by vote. Sisters Lizzie Thomas and Louise Horne were then elected first and second councellors to Sister Snow [. . .] [p. 1] [. . .]

Brother [John] Nicholson was then asked to make a few remarks, he said he thought the organization had been effected under very favorable auspices, that we were very much favored in having Sister E. R. Snow act as president [. . .]
