[. . .] Prayer by Sister Snow Smith. [. . .] Sister Snow Smith then occupide a shorte time, exorting the children to be good and to attend there meetings and to treasure up all the good instructions they have given them. To be kind to each other and there parents, and those who are placed over them and above all be prayfull [prayerful] and have faith in God. For he will help us through our tr[o]ubles and heal us when sick, and preserve us from harm and accidents. Asking the children to adminester to there parents and playmates when they are sick.1 And to always remember to pray for there friends when they are in truble. [1 illegible word] then ask some questions from the Bible which was answered by the children. She ask us to cultivate [p. 38] puncutality [punctuality] if we make it a point to always be punctual we would gain the confidence of all. Worning [Warning] us never to use strong drink nor tobacco, and to keep the word of wisdom. asking the Lord to bless all the little children that they may grow up to be noble men and women, and assist in carrying out the work of God.
