I. From the Primary Minutes
Minutes of organizing the Scipio Primary Association under the superintendency of Sister E. R. Snow and Zina D. [H.] Young. [. . .] Amusing instructions were given by Sister E. R. Snow, when they proceeded to organizing the children with officers. [. . .] Sister E. Snow then had them recite in concert the Lords Prayer. Then showed them the necessity of faith in God, giving instances of members of the Primary [p. 1] Associations in healing the sick &c, and very much encouraging them to attend and perform their several parts in duty. [. . .] Sister Snow them <then> let them view a beautiful gold watch formerly owned by the Prophet Joseph Smith. Told them what would result from there being faithful in the Primary association [. . .]

Minutes of organizing the Scipio Primary Association under the superintendency of Sisters E R Snow and Zina D [H.] Young. [. . .] Amusing instructions were given by E R Snow, when they proceeded to organize the children with officers [. . .] Sist E Snow then had them recite in concert the Lords Prayer. Then showed them the necessity of faith in God giving instances of members of other Primary associations in healing the Sick, etc, and very much encouraging them to attend and perform their several parts in dutie

The matter of raising means for the benifet of the B Y Academy also brought before the people by Sist [Elizabeth F.] Yates who suggested a subscription of the Relief Society of $20.00— carried This was headed by Sisters Snow and Young donating $10 ten Dol each [. . .] [p. 35] [. . .]
