Agreeable to appointment Sister Eliza R Snow Sister M I Horn [Mary Isabella Horne] with other Ladies met a number of the Residents of the 20th Ward in their Ward School House for the purpose of Organizing a Primary Mutual Improvement Association on the 19th day of April 1879.

Sister Eliza R Snow then addressed the Children on general subjects encouraging them to live lives of purity by keeping the commandments of God to be punctual in attending theese meetings and obey the Counsels of those chosen to preside over them.
She quoted passages from the Bible showing how the Lord heard and answered the prayers of little Children the Prophet Joseph Smith also had great faith in Childrens prayers [. . .] [p. 7]
