[. . .] Miss E. R. Snow followed: These her young sisters looked beautiful to her, they are laying foundations for Eternity, and among them she could see Goddesses and priestesses of Eternity, if they will take a right course to gain these exaltations, but so long as we follow the fashions <of this world> and allow our mind to be filled with them, we will not receive those blessings but if we seek to live for God and to educate ourselves in Him we will be preparing ourselves to obtain them.

The wealth which we take to Him will be our experience in His work. Each of us have had an existance before this life, and consented to have our reccollections taken from us, and come here that we might prove ourselves worthy to dwell, in Gods presence forever, and when we return all of the past will be brought to us again, and how happy we will be if we are counted worthy to hold a glory that will be for our exaltation.

In the sectarian world they do not think they will recognize each other there but we will most certainly, it is just as matter of fact as this world is. If we could understand that by living after the manner of the world is a lose [loss] of time we would be preparing ourselves to shine in Gods kingdom, by studying the principles of His gospel. Spoke of the minutes of the young ladies read in 14th Ward Meetings; was glad to notice the gro[w]th of mind among them, and so it will be we shall go on from on[e] principle to another, if we apply our hearts to gaining knowledge [p. 25] from God, and become instructors as well as learners, and be able to stand in Holy places with dignity and self-control to instruct thousands. If you continue as you have commenced the learned of the world will come to you for counsel. Speaking of prophecy, if we will only hold ourselves worthy to receive them, all things will come in their right place. And of the power spreading among the young, if they will continue to move forward they will bring about one of the greatest changes that ever occurred.

Miss E. R. Snow said that if we worked for the kingdom of God that our works would [p. 26] not perish, but if for the world they will stand as nothing.
