[. . .] Prayer by Sister E. R. Snow [. . .]

Sister Snow felt proud to see so good a meeting, and was proud to be associated with the Sisters who met. There are many that get weary in well doing, and fall by the way, her desire was to hold on, never to have a doubt of this work, though Oliver Cowdery never had a doubt of this work, yet he turned away, and his affections were estranged from the Gospel. Spoke of her appreciation of the Relief Societies, and the blessing and reward of those who are faithful in their labors and maintain their integrity.— [p. 249]

Sisters Margaret P. Young, Lawson and [Relief C.] Atwood endorsed the remarks of Sister Snow, and desired to overcome their weaknesses and be found faithful in every duty required of them [. . .] [p. 250]
