Sister Snow spoke of the rapid growth of the Relief Societies, & the great good resulting therefrom. Exhorted the sisters to be united in sustaining home manufacture. Her remarks were more especially concerning Silk culture. Advised that the Co. [county] be organized into a Stake Silk Association. Said it would be necessary to have machinery.

Bro. Anson Call, by invitation of sister Snow, organized this As— [Association], but before doing so made a few remarks, during which he said, he felt that he was among the finest, & most noble workmanship of God, viz—women. [. . .] [p. 30]
