Sist Sarah <M> Kimbal said [. . .] [n.p.] I feel like asking the blessing of the Lord upon sist. Snow that she may be restored for she has many times imported words of life unto us. [. . .] [n.p.] [. . .]

Sist E. R. Snow said I was just asking your president if the young ladies were not going to speak; I have attended young ladies annual meetings where I have heard them <the girls> speak & I enjoyed it very much; our young girls want to be improving, each should take part. it is in bearing testimony that the spirit of God is made manifest; if you do not speak to day I hope you will in your meetings. I was wondering if the young ladies have made up their minds what kind of characters they will be; whether they will be honorable, noble, kind, & everything that is good; or whether they will be frivelous; have you thought of this my young sisters? How much you have to stimulate you to do right; you are here being educated to [n.p.] become queens in the kingdom of God. I am proud of those who are up & doing, & attend their meetings. If you want to gain knowledge, treasure it up & impart it; if you have a good idea get up in meeting & impart it to others. I feel to bless you, & would like to say more to you but there has been plenty said. I hope you will reflect upon it & set your mark high. Those who are faithful will reap the reward.
