Meeting opened with singing “O My Father” &c Prayer by E. R. Snow. She told the children that praying was talking with the Lord, and the children repeat the prayer after her. [. . .] Sr. E. R. Snow addressed the children said twas a beautiful sight, & said she could not tell how interested she felt in the youth of Zion, said she was getting up some Primary Speakers for the children, one from three to ten years old, [p. 18] and another for from ten to fifteen years old, of one hundred and ninety two pages in, she showed by her works that she loves children. said sooner than send her children to an outside school, she would follow them to the grave one hundred times rather. Said that many Parents were handing their children right over to satan, to be destroyed. asked the children Who was the first Prophet? and in what dispensation? ans. [answered] Joseph Smith, Prophet of the last dispensation. She asked many interesting and instructive questions, and interested them for some time, with her beautiful stories and faith and &c.
